Dennese Guadeloupe Rojas balances the practical with the aesthetic, functional with elegance and ends up with happy homeowners and impressive referrals. Dennese, a resident of Silver Spring, MD, owns Interiors By Design, a full-service design company focused on stylish, trend-setting homeowners. Her motto is consistent and simple, "Maintain authenticity in style and texture. Give color and art its fair place."
Born in Trinidad, Dennese traded an account management position in direct mail in the early '90s to enter the fiercely competitive world of designing interior spaces. She has participated in some of the mid-Atlantic's most celebrated show home events including the pre-eminent National Symphony Orchestra Decorators' Show House and the Washington Design Center's Decorators' Design House. A graduate of Bauder College in Florida, Dennese's design savvy is well-known in the sports arena having designed numerous homes for NFL players and their extended families. Her client base extends throughout the East Coast and the US Virgin Islands where Interiors By Design has a branch office. These days Dennese is busy planning for her new location in Rockville. A late spring opening is scheduled.
