Anna French: A Life in Design
Featuring Anna French
Born to Polish parents during the turmoil of the Second World War, Anna French grew up into the vibrant world of modern textiles attending Art School in London during the 1960s. In 1976 she made the brave decision to start her own company with her husband John French, moving from London to a Victorian Lace mill in Scotland. With high standards and a tremendous passion for good design, she has turned her hand to a number of different looks; from lace sheers, to both children and adult fabrics and wallpapers. Now working with her son Jonathan and her new partners at Thibaut, she remains on the cutting edge of design.
Join Anna French a she presents her latest collections: Wild Flora and Glamour, touching on weaving and printing techniques in wallpaper and fabric, and the versatility of Scottish cotton lace.
Following the presentation, please join us for a luncheon in The Rist Showroom, Suite 102.
