| Design House at The Washington Design Center Each
spring and fall, The Washington Design Center unveils a new Design
House, an on-site designer show house, sponsored in part by a national
shelter magazine or publication such as Veranda, Southern Accents, House
Beautiful, Architectural Digest or Traditional Home. Each new season offers
a new theme for the house, that features beautifully appointed rooms created
by prominent local interior designers. Each room is inspired by different
elements of the theme, whether it be a ladies' sitting room, a 21st-century
media bedroom, a Zen tea garden or a weekend log cabin in the mountains,
each room offers a unique perspective and interpretation for all to enjoy.
Each room showcases the exclusive home furnishings available from The
Washington Design Center's showrooms.
